The theoretical speed of Tamiya & XRay

Below you find the estimated theoretical speed, all calculations are done by using this website: http://www.easy-rc.com/cgi-bin/gearratios.cgi

Wheel diameter (mm): 60 (I used 60 as a worst case and not 62, 63, or 64)
Motor max speed (RPM): 35000 (I put this number as a worst case, the actual number is 12S * 3.7 * 1360rpm = 60384)

Tamiya TB Evo 5 results:
Final gear ratio: 1.5:1
Its roll-out is: 125 mm/revolution (4 inches/revolution)
Its maximum speed is: 263 km/hour (163 miles/hours)

XRay T2'008 results:
Final gear ratio: 0.68 (Pinion 150T)
Its roll-out is: 277 mm/revolution (10 inches/revolution)
Its maximum speed is: 582 km/hour (361 miles/hours)
LOL IT IS REALLY GONA FLY!!

Final gear ratio: 0.85 (Pinion 120T)
Its roll-out is: 221 mm/revolution (8 inches/revolution)
Its maximum speed is: 465 km/hour (289 miles/hours)

Final gear ratio: 1.02 (Pinion 100T)
Its roll-out is: 184 mm/revolution (7 inches/revolution)
Its maximum speed is: 388 km/hour (241 miles/hours)

I will measure the actual speed when I have a chance to run them after testing them (I know that it will take some time to reach the goal).

Old test video for my custom works 2WD

This is an old video shows my test for the custom works 2wd, I still didn't push the trigger to 100%, because I have faced some issues with the gear. So I was just testing the car.

This video was recorded in Kuwait at 6am.

Sorry for the bad video quality because I'm using my mobile camera (3.2 mpx)

Modified XRay T2'008 Prototype

This is my modified XRay T2'008 US edistion 1/10 scale prototype.
The equipment that will be installed on this car are same as
that are in my Tamiya except that the gears ratio are differ.

The only thing modified is the motor mount. Actually I created a
new motor mount from scratch.

Here are the specification of this car:

Motor: Neumotor 1515/3D
Batteries: Thunderpower 3S+3S+6S = 12S
ESC: CC HV110
Internal gear ratio: 1.7
Final gear ratio: 1.7 * (60/150) = 0.68
OR
Final gear ratio: 1.7 * (60/120) = 0.85
since the the gear with 150T may hit the body (I may cut the body from the top).
